Writer and Reader users can use the Send email notification feature within the Report Editor to send other Writer and Reader users within their account an email to let them know that the report is ready for them to review / edit in the Report Editor.
This can be done from directly within the Report Editor or the Client & Report Library.
The Report Editor
From within the Report Editor, click Send email notification within the 'Genovo Actions' drop down menu and a new window will open. Here you can select the user(s) you wish to send the notification to, and even add a custom message.
The Client & Report Library
From within the 'Report' window, click the Send email notification icon, and this will also open the 'Send email notification' window much like the above.
On clicking Send, the selected user(s) will be sent an email which looks something like this. It will include a link for them to click on to view and edit the report in the Report Editor.
You can only use the send email notification feature to send emails to individuals who have been added to your account. Hence it is vital that all the individuals with your company who get involved in with the report writing process, including admin staff, paraplanners, advisers / planners and compliance report checkers, are added as a Writer or Reader user on your account.
The 'Send notification to' and 'CC' fields will also respect the 'view all users' client / reports' and any 'workgroups' settings of the individual users' accounts.
