When adding your investments to your Investment Library, rather than creating the investment from scratch each time you may find it quicker to use an existing investment that is already saved in your Investment Library as a template, clone it, make any changes and save it as a new investment.

Cloning an investment is a particularly quick and efficient way of adding a number of investments to your library where the information about the investment is similar. For example, risk-rated model portfolios where the underlying funds are often broadly the same, but the allocations are slightly different.

To clone your own or another user's library investment, simply click on the clone button to the right of the investment.

This will create an exact copy of that investment in your Investment Library with the name "Copy of...". Having created a copy, you can now edit the details of the investment in the usual way and share it with the team.
