You can hide a report template by unchecking the Show checkbox. 

This will remove it from the report template drop down in the Report Details window when you build a report using the 'from an existing template' report creation method. If you are an admin of a multi-user Company Plan, hiding a report template will also remove it from the libraries, as well as the drop-down menus of your other account users.
