When building a report for an integrated client, you can pull details of their plans from Xplan into the following review sections:

- Review of Your Existing Investments

- Review of Your Existing Pensions

- Review of Your Existing Retirement Income Plans

- Review of Your Existing Protection Plans

And the following recommendation section:

- Mortgage Recommendation

To add a plan from Xplan, click on the add plan button on the Plan Summary page and you’ll be directed to the Plan Summary - Add Plan page in the usual way.

Because the report belongs to an integrated client, you’ll notice an add data from crm button is included at the top of the page.

To import a plan from Xplan (as opposed to entering the data manually) click add data from crm and a dialog box will open showing all of the client’s plans that can be pulled into that particular section of Genovo.

The dialog box contains a summary of the following plan information so it’s easy to identify which plan you wish to add:

- Owner

- Xplan plan name

- Corresponding Genovo plan name

- Provider name

- Policy number

Only Xplan plans belonging to the client(s) that are relevant to that particular section and can be mapped to a corresponding plan type in Genovo will show in the list. You'll find further information about the different plan types that are available in each section of the Genovo app here.

To add a plan, click the corresponding add plan hyperlink to the right of the Policy Number field, and the data contained in any integrated fields will be automatically inserted into the add plan page within Genovo. If the plan has a linked portfolio account in Xplan, you’ll notice that a Current Investment Strategy (CIS) is also automatically created at the bottom of the plan details page within Genovo.

Having added a plan, you can then edit any integrated fields (should you need to), and complete any non-integrated fields as required.

It is worth highlighting that the integration is currently only one way, so if you do make any changes to the plan data in Genovo this won’t sync back to Xplan.

On clicking save, you’ll be returned to the Plan Summary page. You’ll notice that a small integration icon (plug) has been included to the left of the plan to indicate that it’s an integrated plan.
