What is a favicon?


A favicon is an icon associated with a website, typically displayed in the address bar of a browser accessing the site or next to the site name in a user's list of bookmarks. However, favicons are also used for a number of other purposes. They are becoming an increasingly important part of a company's branding and are frequently used within a company's literature to make it more visually appealing and eye catching.

How can you upload your own favicon to Genovo?


It's really quick and easy to upload your company's favicon. Go to Customisation > Upload favicon and follow the simple on-screen instruction.



The favicon should be uploaded as an image file (e.g. jpeg or png) and the maximum file size is 1MB. 


Where will the favicon be used?


It will be automatically resized to ensure it is displayed correctly in the top right hand corner of your reports and your GUI.
